Non-incision Points
MOEM's 4 Non-incision Harvesting Methods
MOEM offers four distinct non-incision harvesting methods: All-cut, Two-block Cut, Hidden Cut, and No-cut.
The decision to shave or not shave plays a crucial role, as it directly affects the speed of returning to daily life.
All-cut
This method shaves the entire head before harvesting, reducing surgery time and providing economic benefits.
It is suitable for large-scale transplants and is chosen when a wide crown area requires transplantation.
Two-block Cut
In this method, only the occipital area is shaved, and hair is harvested.
The uncut hair on top can partially cover the harvested area.
This method is recommended for those who can continue their daily life even with a shaved head.
Hidden Cut
This non-shaving technique involves cutting the hair to be harvested along with some surrounding hair and then selectively harvesting healthy follicles.
Healthy follicles can be harvested according to a thickness within the entire safe donor area of the occipital region. As the name suggests, uncut hairs can cover the harvesting scars.
No-cut
This advanced non-shaving method selectively cuts only the hair to be harvested, and only the cut hair is harvested.
MOEM's Originality
The No.1 Most Popular Surgery Method in Korea
MOEM Clinic was the first and longest-running to perform Hidden Cut surgery, and we possess an overwhelming number of successful Hidden Cut cases.
Inconspicuous Hair Transplant
What is the Hidden Cut?
The Hidden Cut is a non-incision surgical technique where the hair needed for transplantation and some surrounding hair are trimmed with scissors before harvesting.
By trimming only a slightly larger amount of hair than needed, the surrounding longer hair effectively conceals the surgical area.
Growing your hair as much as possible before surgery allows you to maximize the benefits of the inconspicuous Hidden Cut.

Features of the Incision Method
Pain Minimization
For individuals with good skin elasticity, pain can be below average and managed with oral painkillers.
Large Volume Transplantation
In cases of good scalp elasticity and hair density, a large volume of transplantation can be performed in a short time.
Various Scar Covers
If you want to hide a scar, hair transplantation or scalp tattooing will be performed on the scarred area.
Economical Cost
The surgery time is shorter, and the cost is more economical compared to the non-incision method.
Combination
Combination hair transplantation is a surgical method suitable for large-volume transplantation, merging the advantages of both incision and non-incision (non-shaved) methods.
Initially, the incision method is used to extract as much hair as possible, and any additional required volume is performed using MOEM's signature non-incision hidden cut.
"Even with a large volume extraction, combining the incision and hidden cut methods allows for a quick return to daily life, as it is not noticeable immediately after surgery."
